What is VPN?

VPN stands for Virtual private network. 

A VPN, or Virtual private network allows you to create a secure connection to another network over the internet.

There are two basic VPN types

1. Remote access VPN
2. Site-to-site VPN

1. Remote access VPN

A remote access VPN allows individual users to establish secure connections with a remote computer network. 

2. Site-to-site VPN

Site-to-site VPN is a type of VPN connection that is created between two separate locations.
